Recycling Program
The recycling program is a co-operation between the cities of McComb, Magnolia, Osyka and Summit, and Pike County through a Regional Recycling Cooperative Grant from the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality. The McComb recycle container is located at 1241 Parklane Road (fire station 4).
Things you can recycle:
Aluminum products
- washed and cleaned aluminum foil and pie tins
- food and beverage containers
- empty aerosol cans
- tin-coated steel food and beverage containers
Plastic products
- plastic bottles, lids, caps, tubs and containers #1-7
Paper products
- mixed residential paper, white ledger paper
- non-foil gift wrap and greeting cards
- shredded paper- in clear tied bags
- paper books, magazines and junk mail
- cereal boxes and shoe boxes
- non wax coated corrugated cardboard
Recycling will help sustain our environment by reducing pollution, refurbishing materials and reducing the use of natural resources.
