Mission:
The City of McComb's Department of Recreation strives to provide safe and accessible parks, recreation facilities, and programs that encourage participation from area citizens and visitors

Long Range Goal:
To develop a central sports complex that offers all willing participants the opportunity to enjoy both structured and unstructured recreation and leisure activities.

Eleven (11) Parks maintained by the City

MCCOMB SPORTS PARK

  • 701 South Magnolia Street
  • First Class, Softball/Baseball Fields-Skinned Infield, Adjustable Base Paths, Portable Fencing and Portable Pitching Mounds
  • Covered Seating Area with Fans
  • Press Box, Commercial/Restaurant-Grade Concession Stand & Restrooms
  • Conference Room
  • 50 AcresPark is not open to the public; must be reserved before using; call office for forms and fees

 

 

 

CENTRAL PARK

  • Corner of Minnesota & 6th Street
  • Splash Pads
  • Three Tennis Court (Lighted)
  • Handball Court
  • Playground Set
  • Small Pavilion
  • Picnic Tables/Park Benches
  • Practice Ball Field with Backstop
  • Water Fountain & Drink Machine
  • Restrooms
  • Open Grass Area
  • 2.5 AcresPark is not open to the public; must be reserved before using; call office for forms and fees
 
 

MARTIN LUTHER KING PARK

  • Two Tennis Courts
  •  Splash Pad

EAST MCCOMB ACTIVITIES FIELD

  • Two soccer fields (seasonal)
  • Concession Stand and Restrooms available when  reserved
  •  Large open grass area

 ARMORY FIELD

  •  Backstop, Baseball/Soccer Field
  •  1.16 Acres - Partially fenced
  • Park is open to the public
 

EDGEWOOD PARK

  • Lakeshore Drive

  • Picnic Tables/Park Benches
  • BBQ Pits
  • Large Green Space
  • 17.36 Acres
