Permit Fees

Building Permit Fees
Total Valuation Fee
$1,000 and less
Minimum charge of $50 for the building permits that fall within this valuation.
$1,000 to $50,000 $50 for the first $1,000 plus $11 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof, to and including $50,000.
$50,000 to $100,000 $589 for the first $50,000 plus $10 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof, to and including $100,000.
$100,000 to $500,000 $1,579 for the first $100,000 plus $9 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof, to and including $500,00.
$500,000 and up $6,070  for the first $500,000 plus $8 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof.


B102 Moving Fee
   For the moving of any building or structure, the fee shall be $175. If any building or structure is to be moved
and/or replaced with another building or structure then the fee shall be $200.


B103 Demolitions Fee

For the demolition of any buildings or structures, the fee shall be: 
0 up to 100,000 cu.ft. $150.00
100,000 cu.ft. and over $2.00 per 1,000 cu.ft.

 

B104 Penalties

Where work for which a permit is required by this code is started or proceeded prior to obtaining said permit, the fee herein specified shall be doubled, but the payment of such double fee shall not relieve any persons from fully complying with the requirements of this code in the execution of the work nor from any other penalties prescribed herein.


All permits are based on the total cost of improvement, Building, Electrical, Mechanical (HVAC), Plumbing, Etc.

Roofing Permits

All roofing permits shall be calculated just as all building permits with a minimum fee of $50 for $1000 or less, plus the additional fees per $1000 to $500,000 and up.


Sign Permits

All sign permits shall be calculated just as all building permits with a minimum fee of $50 for $1000 or less, plus the additional fees per $1000 to $500,000 and up.



Plan Review Fee

All plans that are to be reviewed by the zoning, inspections and planning department shall be subject to a fee of $175 on projects that are $50,000 or less and projects that are $50,001 or more shall be $300.
